I'm really starting to freak out. Not only do I need to go through the entire manuscript again on paper, Chapter 10 and Chapter 11 suck. I got both critiques back and they are not good. Pretty much need to rethink and rewrite both, but I can't do that until I type in Chapter 9's revisions.

Yesterday was all writing. No hike or climbing. I was focused on the book. I did a lot of rewriting in Chapter 7 that took hours, but I think it's a lot better. Chapter 8 wasn't so bad, but still took a while. Oh, and if you notice my page count, I'm now long which means I'll have to cut. As usual. But not until I get through the entire thing.

Today I have some kidlet stuff to do and one of their violin recitals to attend, but other than that I'll be trying to figure out how to fix the last two chapters. I really need to do something physical, too. A hike this morning would be perfect. Plus my Everest video is due back today so I need to take time out to watch that.

Are you getting back into your normal routine today or extending your holiday weekend another day or two?

DH is still home today, which screws with my schedule something awful. So, no, not back to my old routine... *sigh*

Good luck with your writing -- bet it all falls into place in the end! Can't wait to read whatever it is :-)

Hugs Marianne. Hope you can get back on your routine soon! And thanks. I hope it falls into place. Otherwise death by chocolate sounds pretty good :)

Thanks Tori. I'm trying to breathe. It's getting harder.

Still not done with nine since I ended up going bac to 7 and 8 first. I also spoke with the Idaho County Sheriff and two people from Clearwater National Forest and the climbing cutie for research info. Now I think I'm going to cut the first scene of nine and do something different. I'm long anyway, but that might help with some of the problems in the last two chapters.

A hike would help your mood and I'm sending prayers and hugs for you.

Melissa, I have faith in you. We have faith that you'll get it done. Hey I just noticed that I wrote the same thing as Brandy. GMTA.

A big congrats on the weight loss.

I'm back to my regular routine. I had to finish up a presentation and then launch a quick survey, all before noon my time.

Were you able to take a short break and hike? Being one with nature really helps clear up the mind.

I hope your day was good and Good luck on the revisions.

Thanks Brandy and Dru! It's been a struggle today.

I didn't get out hiking. I've been working so hard, then the little one got out of preschool, then her nap, then the older kids came home so I'm stuck here now. It's also almost 90 degrees, though the hike is shaded. For sure tomorrow morning!

Wow, Dru, you were busy. Appreciate the prayers, Brandy.

Okay, back to it. Rewrote 9 for the umpteenth time and need to finish typing in the final scene so i can figure out what I'm going to do with 10 and 11. After a chat with my cp, I have some ideas, but still toying with things.

Wish I had time for a nap though! All this thinking makes me tired:)
