Or so I hope. Hubby left this morning at 1:30 am to make a summit attempt on Mount Hood. The weather looks perfect out my window, but the room is facing the valley, not the hill!
I stayed in the lobby until almost 11 o'clock working on the book. I went through Chapter 9 again and sent it to my critique partner, then started to figure out chapter 10, which is a total mess. I deleted one scene and wrote another. It's going to take a lot of work which I'm not looking forward to.
That's about all I have to report right now! I want to get to work on the book. More later!

1:30 a.m.?? Holy cow... hope he makes it safe and sound.
Good luck with the writing :-)
Goodness that's sounds like an unusual time to climb.
I hope chapter 10 works out the way you want!
Getting up that early is called an Alpine start. It's normal with mountain climbing. A few teams left even earlier. If you don't, it can get real mushy and sloppy up there as it warms.
Thanks for the good luck wishes. Ten may drive me to chocolate. It's not going well!
