Clip for the day: This song really fits where my heroine is headed in Chapter 10 plus it matched my mood last night. In hindsight, I should have forgotten about writing for a few hours and gone climbing instead.

I'm still struggling with Chapter 10. I MUST finish it today so I can rewrite Chapter 11 tomorrow and then start at the beginning on Sunday. The book is due in exactly one week and I have yet to revise any of the chapters. This is the most behind I've ever been on a project. Not a fun place to be.

Wish I could say I had fun plans this weekend. Except for Pilates this morning, going to the gym and climbing, and Mass on Sunday, I'm planning to spend the next three days writing. I checked out a Mt. Everest video to watch, but it's only forty-five minutes. And I'll be working hard to get back on the wagon with my diet so will try to get a walk/hike in if I can. I'm going to walk/hike at least two of the three days though! I need to fill the well.

Don't let that one day beat you, pretend that day didn't exist and you're still in your diet mode. You're doing good.

I'm sorry that chapter 10 is a struggle for you. Let your mind relax and think of nothing and then revisit the story in your mind and hopefully chapter 10 will flow with it. Do something fun, laugh, chapter 10 will flow. The walk will also do you good. Good luck. You can do it.

Like I said before, total deprivation is not good. It's okay to fall off the diet wagon every now and then, just not everyday if you are committed to stay on it!

I'm so sorry about Chapter 10. I'll be sending you hugs and prayers!

The walk/hike will help, I'm sure, to clear your head.

Thanks guys! You're the best!

My cp sent back my chapter nine today with some rewrite suggestions. I think I'll do those and see if that helps me push through 10 afterwards!

And i may go for a hike alone. I can walk to a trailhead from my house which is really nice.
