Last night I went to a Women's Climb Night at a local gym. It's a monthly event, but I'd never made it to one before due to scheduling conflicts. I'd heard via group emails that there's always people who show up so I figured I'd make my way down even though the staff member who organizes it was on vacation. Well, guess what? No one else showed up.
But I learned a lot and know what to work on. My legs and hands are sore today, too. Kind of strange since I didn't climb that much, though I ended up with blisters again. I think those and peeling fingers and hands are just a given now.
Oh, and I did make it to the top of the big wall, which my fear of heights had always stopped me before, so this was a big accomplishment for me even though I've climbed much higher outside! I didn't even realize it until I got home and hubby asked how far up I made it the big wall! And even though I suck even worse than I thought, it was still a good night of climbing.
What did you do last night?

You rock!!! (No pun intended. *g*)
Haha, Tori! Thanks. Maybe someday I will!
But Cutie rocks. Big time. Love watching him climb. His friend rocks, too. And so do a bunch of the other climbers I watched last night!
YAY! You conquered a fear! Way to Go!
Last night, I sat and read a book. I was lazy. *g* No laziness allowed today!
Have a wonderful day!
Oh, Brandy. I wish I had time to just sit and read a book. Maybe once the galleys are returned.
And I was pretty psyched about the wall of course I was surprised I hadn't realized it at the time I did it! Probably a good thing since I had so much other stuff to think about that the Climbing Cutie had told me!
you did good! Hooray for conquering your fear and reaching the top of the wall.
As Tori said, "you rock"
Last night I bought a bag to replace the damaged one.
Thanks, dru!
Glad you found a replacement bag so fast!
Last night I picked my uncle up at the airport -- it would be great to see him, except he's here to grab my mom and take her back to CA... dang it.
:-(
Oh, and I'm still celebrating the sale of my novel. That's pretty cool.
