We drove until 1 am and stopped in Woodland, California for the night. Okay, 5 hours. We're leaving in about three minutes to head to Camarillo where hubby's brother lives. Sound effects were what we will remember most about last night....sirens and trains with really, really loud whistles.
I drove from the shift from Medford than hubby took over around midnight. Rose kept asking when we got to Disneyland. She didn't understand that we wouldn't be there last night!

My friend from CA is going to law school in OH, and after 1.5 years, still can't get over hearing trains and whistles - this made me think of him.
