Pride and Prejudice

I've mentioned before how much I love Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The book, the movies, everything about it. My current project has the heroine and hero discussing the movies so I hopped over to You Tube to watch a few clips and be inspired. I haven't done that, hanging out at You Tube, in awhile due to giving up time wasters for Lent, so I had a bit of fun. And even though I wasted time watching all these, I had already written all my pages done for the day so it was okay.

Here are a few things I found you might enjoy.

The actual Pride and Prejudice trailer:

Lion's pride trailer:

Pirates of the Caribbean trailer:

A Hairspray trailer:

The BBC version trailer:

Beauty & the Beast trailer:

I'm not sure what this is, but I had to share it:

In case you couldn't figure it out, the stalker Ken doll in the red jacket is Mr. Darcy.

Which one did you like the best?

Ahh - I can't watch these right now b/c I'm in con law - but I love Jane Austen. I've been following all the movies of her books on Masterpiece Theatre on PBS - and I can't wait to see this!

What did you decide to do with the kidlets?

I must have the slowest high speed on the planet because it still takes way more longer than I care to wait to watch YouTube videos. *sigh*

Okay, have to admit the Barbie and Ken trailer is scary funny. *g*

Hope you're having a great day!

limecello - the trailers are kinda silly, but a whole lot of fun! hope you enjoy them. when hubby and I were in England we toured Jane Austen's house and saw her grave. We also read P&P aloud to one another as we toured the Dorset coast.

dru - we're going to try and keep it a secret as long as possible. We'll see how that works.

Tori - sorry! I forget not everyone has fast access. We get it through our cable and its awesome.

Haha Brandy - scary funny describes it perfectly. At first I thought Darcy was Wickham but soon realized, nope that's Mr. Darcy.

So far the day has been boring considering we could have been skiing. But I got tons of laundry folded. We're going to have lunch then head out for some fun!

Thanks for the smiles! The stalker Ken made me laugh.

Would love to someday see Jane Austen's house. Putting it on the list...

Have a great weekend. :)
