I've been praying Friday would arrive. Hubby has been in New York all week. I'm counting the hours until his plane touches down. Right now I've got 13 1/2 hours to go. Needless to say, it's been a difficult week.
I'm feeling a little better thanks to the Neti Pot I purchased the other day. I know it sounds weird to be pouring water in one side of your nose to have it come out the other, but it works. Using this has been my only relief this week. I've even managed pages on the new book! If you want to read more about the Neti Pot, here's an article from the New York Times.
I also found out last night that Chaos will be coming on Saturday, not Sunday! I'm going to run to Costco this morning and buy her a doggy bed.

I'm going food shopping and housework to get ready for my daughter, fiance and their new puppy coming from out of town. We'll both be playing with new dogs on Saturday but my "chaos" will be going back home Monday night lol.
That is so kewl about Chaos arriving tomorrow. Are they kids still in the dark?
Two of my co-workers have used the Neti-pot and they said it saved their sanity.

Chaos is still a secret! We may just pull this off. The plan is for Chaos to arrive Saturday night when the kids get home from Irish Dance dress rehersal. They have a recital on Sunday.
Hubby is not home yet :( His plane arrives after ten.

My sister got me something similar with a plastic bottle and a rounded tip - the neti pot looks interesting, but difficult to use.
I didn't think it was that helpful, however, so I stopped using it :X - glad it's working for you though!
Yeah!! I'm so thrilled you are getting Chaos a day early and that you are feeling better. I have heard good things about the Neti Pot and keep meaning to get one.

Another Neti Pot convert. A friend of mine swears by hers and keeps trying to get me to try one. Maybe someday. It sounds like the potential for that post-submersion-after-jumping-off-the-
high-dive sinus pain is high.
As for plans, *sigh*, I really should exercise. At least I'm listening to a good audio book, which helps. Plus I have another page to go before hitting my daily page count goal.
