I managed to stay awake tonight and all I can say is wow! and dry the tears from my eyes after the medal ceremony. Nastia and Shawn were awesome. One, two. It doesn't get better than that!
The look on Nastia's father's face with his tear-filled eyes was so touching. Like father, like daughter. Two gold medalists in one family. How cool is that?
I wonder what the first product we'll see Nastia on. Wheaties, perhaps?
Okay, time to call it a night.

**sigh**
I have no idea who you're talking about... there is no possible way I can watch the Olympics. I barely make it up until nine.
I'm glad whomever won whatever, though. lol....
It was great seeing both girls compete and still chat on the side while preparing for their next rotation.
I tried to watch for a while, but soon switched. *g* I'm glad you're happy on who won, and that moment shared with the world in a Father's eyes.
I hope you're having a FABULOUS day!
I watched the whole and was impressed who S.Johnson was 5th and managed in the end to go for Silver!
Wasn't that awesome???
Actually, though, Nastia's the only gold medalist in the family. Her dad was beaten by a fellow Soviet gymnast for the gold. Oh, never mind. He was an individual gold medalist just not all-around.
I didn't watch last night so I didn't see Nastia get the gold, I missed it. I had other things going on last night.
I'm so glad she won gold. For a while I thought they were going to give it to the chinese girl. And it's the first time ever that americans came in silver and gold in this event - wow!
I could hardly swallow, I was so choked up. I loved every minute of it! :)
That was the most amazing thing! It was hit or miss for a bit what with the squirrelly judging - but yay for the end!
