Happy Halloween!

We have pumpkins and candy! Of course, carving will take place later today, but as long as we're finished by the time it's dark we're fine! Huge sigh of relief.

The other decorations never made it up, but we got the main stuff. The kidlets are happy and that's all that matters. They cannot wait to go trick or treating. I'll have two pirates and a dolphin making the rounds tonight. I'm hoping they get some really good candy. Chocolate especially. I need some to make it through the next seventeen days!

A new family moved into the neighborhood. They have spent the last two weeks turning their house into a Halloween horror house. They've made theater-worthy sets and vignettes. My littlest said she'll try not to cry when they go there. It's pretty amazing. I need to walk over there and take some pictures.

Will you be passing out candy tonight, trick or treating or doing something else?

Nah, I'll be traveling, but hope to see decorated houses on the way.

I hope the kids have fun.

We don't do anything... DH and his family are certain Halloween is the Devil's Holiday.

**sigh**

But, I will buy cheap candy tomorrow! *G*

No big plans here. A day filled with errands will probably leave me so pooped I'll rustle up leftovers and we'll watch a scary movie.

Happy Halloween! Hope the pirates and dolphin make it past the neighbor's house without incident.

Marianne,

I'm emailing you an article on the Christian origin of Halloween.

Your new neighbors sound fun! *G* Happy Halloween! Glad to hear you got your pumpkins. One thing I saw this year that was cute? Mr. Potato head pumpkins! Talk about easy decorating!

Son got a tickle out of the pictures on your blog today!

I hope y'all have a wonderful night!

Happy Halloween!

I have some extra dog walking to do today, otherwise will be home. Will hand out some candy if anyone knocks on door, which will make the dogs crazy, which in turn will scare the kids lol.

Thanks for the link to the Carly Phillips ebook.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks so much for the laughs!!
We volunteered at the American Legion and helped out with a children's party and then we had an adult party and for tonight I'll dress up and hand out candy. I so miss doing it with my kids but they'll both be handing out their own candy. Hope you have good weather for tonight, we are lucky that ours improved a lot.

Awe - super adorable! Halloween isn't/wasn't very big @ my house- but I'm making food (well a pumpkin cheesecake) to bring to a pot luck tomorrow :) I guess 3Ls do have more time ;)

I love the Nacho Libre pic. I don't have any plans, so I'll probably watch tv.

I now have three pirates going trick or treating! My youngest decided she wanted to be a pirate instead of a dolphin. Good thing we're well stocked with pirate costumes around here. She's wearing Mackenna's old one!

Apparently Halloween hasn't caught on here in England because we didn't have a single trick-or-treater! I spent Halloween day on the train coming back from a three generation trip to France and then doing the dreaded post-trip unpacking and laundry.
