I saw this picture and thought of my work in progress. The manuscript isn't quite at the cocoon stage yet. There are still too many loose threads that need to go somewhere. But I'm hopeful that soon everything will be in a nice, neat package.
Once that happens, it's just a matter of polishing and and adding finishing touches so a beautiful butterfly emerges to fly across the Internet into the inbox of the continuity editor at Harlequin Mills & Boon. At least that's the plan.
Only time will tell if I end up with a butterfly or a moth!
I've got a quiet house and the next twenty four hours on my own to write. I'm so excited and have already made good progress. Hope you are having a nice Saturday!

Good luck with your writing. Where is the family?
They are at family camp with our church and in the rain. I'm staying home to take care of the furbabies and write. I think I got the better end of the deal.
You definitely got the better end! LOL... and you have your own butterbaby *G*
I am at that stage as well, polishing, pulling all the loose ends tight, or just clipping them out. It is close and isn't that just the most nerve-wracking part--just close, but still nearly out of reach.
I hope you have a good time with your writing today!
Oh that is great. Hope the writing goes well!
