The last thing I wanted to do this morning was get out of bed. I was so tired, and my eyes were red. (Most likely from the tear-fest after watching Marley and Me on DVD.) I felt as if I'd been hit by a Mack truck. I dragged myself off the couch and into the shower. (It was still too warm to sleep upstairs.) I really wished I'd had nothing to do all day. I've been wishing that a lot lately.
Truth is, I would love to be lazy. I dream about having a lazy day doing nothing. That includes not having to drive anywhere.
So far my laziness remains just that...a dream. Probably a good thing with the length of my To Do list and a proposal to finish, but wouldn't it be nice to do, well, nothing for just one day?
When was the last time you took a day off and were lazy?

Even when I say I'm going to take a day off and truly think that I'll try, there's always something to be done. Whether it be cleaning, laundry, errands... there's always something. Hugs!
Lazy day???? Can't remember the last time I had one. I always seem to have stuff to do sigh.
I no longer have to do much running around since my kids are grown. There's always something to do but I do take time out for me (like now) but saying that - I need to get to my laundry lol.
Lazy days for me are the ones where I'm not constantly multi-tasking. If I'm able to do only ONE thing at a time? I feel so incredibly lazy.
And I refuse to watch "Marley and Me"... I know I wouldn't be able to deal with it. I still miss my darling doggie to the point of tears, even after two years.
