Big Monday in the McClone house today. My oldest gets braces. She's had a retainer and neck gear for a while waiting for her baby teeth to all fall out. They have so last week she got the spacers. Today she gets the bands. I remember having braces, wearing the neck gear and the little rubber bands. It wasn't fun, but the results and the pain were worth it.
My Christmas decorating is coming along. I'm taking one bin at a time.
Anyone have any ideas on how to kitty proof a Christmas tree? Yoda loves the tree. I have a lot of glass ornaments that I don't want broken. I was thinking of only putting non-breakable ornaments on this year, but the family doesn't like that idea at all. Any suggestions?
Have a good Monday!

Hubs had braces and they've been suggested for Daughter, but she still has baby teeth and is still growing, so we nixed that idea for now. As for kitty proofing the tree? No tinsel, of course, and good golly no silk balls. *G* As for the glass ornaments? Pick the ones that mean the most and decorate the top branches with those. As a matter of fact, we decorate the top half of the tree the most and things that are unbreakable (like wooden ornaments) are placed on the bottom.
Have fun!
Have fun decorating your tree.
What Brandy said lol. I've been very lucky that none of my cats really bothers the tree much. A few will bat at some at the very bottom but usually it's because they've been running around chasing each other under the tree. I think because we get live trees and purposely the sharp needled ones, that they leave it alone. Good luck.
NO tinsel is the biggie for cats.
And, man, your LOLCat cracked me up!!
