My bottom was trying to take over, too, so I've gone on a gluten-free diet. Results after two weeks-4 to 5 pounds loss depending on the scale I use! Being sick hasn't helped since I'm doing zero exercise, but I'll take it. Nothing I was tried with my New Years weight loss resolution was working. I'd lose, gain, lose, you get the idea.
There are so many gluten-free products it's a lot different (that's is easier) than when I had to do this when I was nursing Rose and she had a gluten-intolerance. I also found a gluten-free bakery called New Cascadia Traditional in Portland. I plan to drive down there next week to buy pizza dough and bread.
Hope you have a nice weekend!

Twenty years ago my cousin' child was allergic to gluten. Problem was it took 3 or 4 years to diagnose (celiac disease). All her food had to be mail ordered but now it's nice there are options. Also, lucky for her that my cousin is a dietition and has her Masters.
Glad to hear it's working for you.
That had to be hard back then, catslady! They actually did a biopsy to check for celiac back in the fall so happy that was negative. I will say I never felt better when I was gluten, dairy and soy free when I was nursing Rose. I also was thinner than I'd been since my twenties! I even weighed less than when I'd gotten married. But that was so hard to find things I could actually eat. Glad those days are over with!
Congrats on the weight loss.
Have a nice weekend.
I couldn't give up the occasional piece of french bread. But, more the power to you! Congratulations on your weight loss! I hope this works well for you!
Have a wonderful Saturday!
