If you want to see what makes an author's day, week, year, go here and read the lovely review for my book. I was just there again and even with a 46 pound dog on my lap trying to get my attention while I try to blog, I'm all smiles!
Comments there count towards the end of tour $20 amazon gift card giveaway. I'll also be giving someone who comments today a set of trading cards.
Now for the rest of the blog...

The cats almost got their wish yesterday. Chaos didn't self-destruct, but she did get out of the backyard without us knowing. Hubby had taken out the garbage in the morning and didn't latch the gate properly.
While I was at swim practice with the kidlets, someone rang the doorbell. Imagine hubby's surprise when it was two neighborhood boys with Chaos. They'd found her wandering around and brought her home! So relieved and thankful to them. I don't even want to think of what else could have happened!
What's going on with you today? Me? I'll be writing!
Have a great Friday!

So glad the neighborhood kids knew where to find your dog's home.
Have been reading your blog and books for about a year now and enjoying them both very much.
I am enjoying my first day of vacation and spending time with my boys before they go to boy scout camp. Keep up the good writing!

Glad Chaos wasn't lost and was returned.
Not much on my agenda, just waiting for the end of the day so I can go home.
Janet - thanks for commenting. Nice to have you hear and thanks for reading both the blog and the books! I can't tell you how much I appreciate those boys bringing her home. When my oldest found out, she burst into tears and demanded her father do something to the gate so it couldn't happen again!
Audra - have fun with your boys. Hope you can have some "me" time while their away!
Dru - thanks! LOL on waiting for the day to end. So true! I'm ready for a nap. Last night I was on the phone to my nephew. He misses NY so much! Poor kid!
So glad you had a great review!
Good news on Chaos being found safe and brought home.
I've spent the day carting Daughter to work and home, getting Son's hair cut and grocery shopping. In 100 degree heat. Yay. *g*
Hope you had a fantastic day!
Heading over to LASR to comment. If I don't win trading cards on the tour, is there another was to get a set. I am worse than a 10 year old boy with my trading card collection!

Jen,
They are addictive aren't they? I picked up a bunch at the RWA conference. If you don't win (or would rather just get a set) you always send me a SASE. I don't check my PO Box that often, but will be making a trip down there in the next couple of weeks.

Can't imagine your shock to find the dog outside the fence. Thank goodness she found her way home.
